Course Overview

This qualification will suit individuals if they have a strong interest working as an IT professional in networking and cyber security fields. Training includes designing, building and testing networks, developing, implementing and evaluating systems and applications security, network security management, implementation of secure encryption technologies and more. This nationally-recognised course will prepare individuals for a career in networking and cyber security as demand for these skills are set to grow in the near future.

Assessment method

Assessments will be conducted through a combination of questioning, case studies, reports, role-plays, and demonstrations.

Recognition of Prior Learning

We offer everyone the opportunity to apply for Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) at enrolment. Students may be granted credit or partial credit in recognition of skills and knowledge gained through work experience, life experience and/or prior training.

Pathways

On completion of this course, learners may wish to enrol in further qualifications such as: ICT60220 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology OR continue to further university programs.
